This sector consists of two sectors in terms of the two-digit
NACE Rev. 1 Code positions: Manufacture of chemicals, chemical products and
man-made fibres (NACE Rev. 1 24) and manufacture of rubber and plastic products
(NACE Rev. 1 25). Together, these industries accounted for approximately 14% of
the production value of EU-manufacturing. The chemical industry (24) accounts
