In the framework of the eHealth High Level Conference and Exhibition 2006 in Malaga, Spain, e-Business W@tch organised a Strategic Seminar on hospital activities. Three issues were discussed:
1) preliminary results of the recent e-Business Survey 2006;
2) the integration of hospital information systems;
3) the impact of ICT on the changing role of hospitals in health care.
e-Business W@tch and the European Commission invited high-level decision makers from eHealth manufacturers and providers, hospital management and public administration to attend this seminar to debate issues with the e-Business W@tch study team.
